Yea in finland you can do lots with a mobile. Book cinema tickets. Buy stuff from vending machines. Purchase travel tickets. Watch television. Use your mobile as a broadband connection. View bus timetables the list goes on and on.

Why do we need so many different ways of doing the same thing. Twitter, Jaiku, Pownce, social thing. The choices are blinding!!! Its gonna take a whole day to just decide then post to all of the different systems. Is there a way of feeding jaiku into pownce and twitter. Im thinking you could hook up the rss feed right ?

And there is always pownce but that seems to be having lots of big problems of late with some issues with the api. so do you have an interest in the mobile technology sector? I find Myself using the phone and web pad so much more, i find discreet devices much better for impulsive browsing and web communications. I work on a desktop from 9~4 so the thought of sitting infront of one when i get hom is just not appealing! I feel this is a big trend especially concerning network computing.

Jea Jaiku is much more mobile orientated. The app for series 60 is just sweet. Totally keeps you in the loop. Really dont even need the computer most of the time.

I just feel most of the time America and Europe + Japan are heading on two totally different trajectories. I dont think Americans use mobiles in the same way as Europeans,Japanese and koreans. To Americans the mobile phone is just Text and voice. The iphone is changing that a little but still there is a big gap.

well i wast listening to a couple of episodes, one especially concerning podcasting. Everyting seems so apple and ipod focused. There is so much more developed technology in the mobile realm especially for Blogging microbloggin, gps metatagging, podcast listening video streaming and broadcast. I think as much happens in the mobile realm as it does on the desktop. Plusit was a little sad that Jaiku was not mentioned in one of the episodes for microblogging, instead it was only twitter and pownce.

The main difference is E series is business focused and N series is Multimedia and consumer driven. I think E-series also has much better build quality.
